Lastly menu item that is opened is not closed on new item opened

Normal recyclerview with SwipeLayout as the item
Single item menu open
Another item menu open
I want to close the previous item once the new item is open... can this be handled from the SwipeLayout side or is it has to be managed from the adapter side?

I believe this should be handled from the adapter side as SwipeLayout will only deal with the current item(single) that is shown. Let me know your thoughts.
