apv-0.3.3dev01 out of memory

##What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install apv-0.3.3dev01
2. Open large PDF files.
3. Quickly scroll through them. After some time scrolling up and down and
opening different PDF's the application will crash. Especially on high res
displays (tablets for instance).
There seems to be something wrong with the memory management, because this does
not happen with apv 0.3.
##What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Application crashes. Out of memory.
0.3 does not have this issue.
##What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
apv-0.3.3dev01. Samsung galaxy tab 7.7. Android 3.2.
