Vertical scroll lock too severe

A vertical scroll lock (i.e. the feature that makes it easier to scroll
vertically) is a nice feature in general, but I think it is implemented rather
too severely in apv, in that it doesn't allow horizontal scrolling until you
scroll 20% of the screen width. I don't have any concrete suggestions of what
to do instead, but you might want to look at other similar applications
(document readers and web browsers) to see how they implement a similar feature.

FWIW, I like this feature very much the way it is, to be honest. I never
scroll horizontally by accident, and yet I always find I am able to do so
accurately and precisely when I need to.
