Pick and Place Import

Import Pick and Place files into kicad.

Installation

  1. Make sure your KiCAD uses python3. This project has only been tested on the version of KiCAD in the official and user Arch repositories.
  2. Download the project into a folder in your KiCAD plugins folder.
    1. On linux: ~/.kicad_plugins/
    2. On Windows: %APPDATA%\scripting\plugins
    3. On Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/kicad/scripting/plugins or on newer versions ~/Library/Preferences/kicad/scripting/plugins
  3. Close and reopen KiCAD
