Permutations
Fast Python script to generate all possible permutations of a set of characters, perfect for searching for short usernames or domains.
Put in a, b, c and a length of 2 and receive:
aa
ab
ac
ba
bb
bc
ca
cb
cc
Usage
Download the latest version of Python here.
Press the 'Download as ZIP' button above, or clone this repo in your favorite terminal using:
git clone https://github.com/3x/permutations.gitOpen permutations.py with a text editor and change the variables from lines 23-29 to your desired preferences. Note: if the output file name does not already exist, it will be created. Do not use an existing text file or you'll risk data loss.
Save the file once you're done, then cd to the enclosing folder. Then run:
python permutations.pyEnjoy! ✨
