Deepfake is controversial, the advent of this technique brings both praise and criticism. From moral perspective, it does pose detrimental effects on personal privacy, whereas from angle of computer vision, deepfake proposes a new method of image fusion and enhancement, which is likely to be utilized in industries of film and journalism. I am going to analyze the history and current situation of deepfake technique then make use of a deepfake software named DeepFaceLab to deploy two groups of experiment. A conclusion will be conducted from experimental results.
