Theses scripts:
* downloads riak as per basho instructions
* replaces the 127.0.0.1 with the eth0 ip addy
* use euca2ools to instantiate a riak seed
* perform join to the seed node
1) Create a master node:
launch_riak_master.sh -i ami-00000021 -g nimbus -k apifoundry-dev-ewr1 -t m1.small
2) Get master node ip address:
euca-describe-instances i-00000bbc | grep INSTANCE | awk {'print $4'}
10.0.44.55
3) Update the node with the master ip for clustering:
perl -p -i -e s/CHANGEMETOMASTERIPADDRESS/10.0.44.55/g riak_node.sh
4) Create a cluster of nodes that join the master:
launch_riak_nodes.sh -i ami-00000021 -g nimbus -k apifoundry-dev-ewr1 -t m1.small -n 99
5) (1.2 new changes) execute the following on the seed node:
>riak-admin cluster plan
>riak-admin cluster commit
You have a 100 node cluster.
master_instance.txt contains the instance id and description for the master node.
node_instances.txt contains the instance id and description for the nodes.
