Unit 11 Express Homework
Note Taker
Description
This is an application that can be used to write, save, and delete notes. This application usea an express backend and saves and retrieves note data from a JSON file.
Business Context
For users that need to keep track of a lot of information, it's easy to forget or be unable to recall something important. Being able to take persistent notes allows users to have written information available when needed.
Features
- This application's only dependancy is Express
- Creates, updates and can delete within a list of notes in the ul portion of the html
Challenges
- Crash course in linking css and multiple js files when hosted on a server (app.use)
- Issues with MIME type on the css file
- Struggled to get the list to update when an item was deleted
