Setup

Install PuTTY on windows and SSH into iphone Tutorial on how to install PuTTY and SSH
Install Filza File Manager from Cydia
Install Theos Dependencies from Cydia

Installation Guide

This installation guide will install theos.

SSH into the Phone and create 'opt' folder in root directory mkdir /opt
set directory export THEOS=/opt/theos
inside the opt folder run git clone git clone --recursive https://github.com/theos/theos.git $THEOS
You need to download an sdk for your deivce and place it inside /opt/theos/sdks sdk downloads for some versions
run /opt/theos/bin/nic.pl

and check that the output is as follows

Making a tweak

This will show you how to create a simple tweak. using SSH and filza

run export THEOS=/opt/theos
run /opt/theos/bin/nic.pl
run cd /
select iphone/tweak e.g [10.] iphone/tweak type in 10
enter project name for tweak e.g besttweak
enter package name e.g com.test.besttweak
enter author name e.g john
enter MobileSubstrate Bundle filter: com.apple.springboard
List of applications to terminate upon installation: just click enter

The project name of your tweak should now be in your root directory and their should be 4 files which are Makefile, Tweak.x, control and (tweakname).plist.

open filza and go to root and then go to your newly created tweak folder and check that all 4 files are their.
click edit top left and select Makefile and click more bottom right and select open with text editor.
At the top of the file type in ARCHS = armv7 arm64 and click save then cancel then done
repeat step 10 but instead select Tweak.x, you must select all and delete, this is where you can code for your tweak, i have attached a sample tweak which will make the dock transparent.

and click save then cancel then done

using filza travel to this directory /opts/theos/bin/, and find fakeroot.sh file and open it like in step 10 and at the bottom you should see $fakeroot $cmd you must change it to $fakeroot perl /opt/theos/bin/$cmd and click save then cancel then done

Compile and install a tweak

This will show you how to compile and install your tweak which will show up in cydia.

you must cd into your tweak directory cd /`tweakname`
run export THEOS=/opt/theos
run make package
run make install your device will respring and your tweak will be active.
