What is GHC?
The Glasgow Haskell Compiler is a state-of-the-art, open source compiler and interactive environment for the functional language Haskell.
Cabal versions:
The cabal-install 1.18.0.8 version (with dependencies from stackage lts-1.8) is used for 7.4, 7.6 and 7.8 branches. The cabal-install 1.22.6.0 version (with default dependencies) is used for 7.10 branch.
