This script will detect the operating system it is running on and then download the appropriate version of Firefox or Chrome. It will download the files to the current directory and print a message when the downloads are complete. Note that this script requires the curl command to be installed on the system.
To use Browser Downloader, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository or download the script file
browser-downloader.sh
. - Run the script.
- The script will automatically detect the operating system you are using and download the appropriate version of Firefox and Chrome.
Browser Downloader requires the curl
command-line tool to be installed on your system. If you're not sure whether curl
is installed, open a terminal and enter the following command:
curl --version
If curl
is not installed, you can install it using your system's package manager. For example, on Ubuntu or Debian, you can install curl
using the following command:
sudo apt-get install curl
On macOS, you can install curl using the Homebrew package manager:
brew install curl
On Windows, you can download the curl
executable from the official website.
