Introduction

The Currency Exchange Project allows users to convert between different currencies based on real-time exchange rates provided by the ExchangeRate-API. The user interface is built with React, styled using Tailwind CSS, and uses TypeScript for type safety.

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/currency-exchange-project.git
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

Configuration

1. I will provide you with the API key

2. Create a .env file in the root of the project:

   REACT_APP_API_KEY="my-api-key"
   

Replace your-api-key with the actual API key obtained from me

Tools and Versions

Specify the versions of the tools used in your project.

• Node.js: v18.16.0
• TypeScript: ^4.9.5
• React: ^18.2.0
• Tailwind CSS: ^3.3.5

Usage

1. Start the development server:

   npm start
   

2. Open your web browser and navigate to the provided URL.

3. Use the application to perform currency exchanges.
