Apps

Here are some native android apps that I have created. All apps that I have published are available at Google Play. At the moment of this writing the only app that is still alive on Google Play is Just Flashcards, which I am still maintaining and introducing new features to. I have also built a website for the product which I am also maintaining.

Games

All games were created with a basic game engine that is based on the book Beginning Android Games Development: From Beginner to Pro.

Eagle - 2016

My first published game. Currently unavailable due to some changes on Google Play.

Pass candy from bird to bird and earn points. A leaderboard and Google Play Achievements are implemented.

Brickz - 2017

Inspired by classic brick breaker games. Google Play Achievements, leaderboard and in-app purchases implemented.

Productivity

Digitalized flashcards for students. It uses Firebase Authentication for accounts and MySQL for data handling. Users can purchase a monthly subscription to get access to premium functions. They can also use the website to study on computers, https://justflashcards.com.

An app that can be used to track how much time you spend on activities.

Entertainment

A xylophone that says "you are a silly goose" in that order but with different tones depending on what key you press.

Other

Authenticated Goose - 2020

This app was created for a series of articles that I wrote on my website WriTeach where I go through how Firebase Authentication can be set up in android.

Other articles

Here are all articles on WriTeach that I have written about android development. This website is not being updated anymore and the previous domain writeach.com has been removed.
