Industrial Generator power outputting area beyond confusing.

Something is... wrong with the Industrial Generator.
I placed red cables on every single metal surface of the generator, where one might assume power would output from, as well as where the red cables visually connect to the machine. I was only able to receive power from the bottom of the generator, none from the left, right, front, back, only the bottom. I honestly spent almost an hour on this before I thought to try the bottom of the structure.

Mod version 1.9.8 . I apologize if this is different in the newest version.
You are also unable to input heating oil(and other liquids) with fluid ducts.
I still find it bizarre that it's using the experimental rework of the industrial generator
I am uncertain if it's gonna be changed for the finalized version that everyone comes to know and love or if it's still gonna stay as this
Maybe it's doing the thing with the power distribution is acting up; use a diode to see if you can get any power to go one way into the battery
