Industrial Generator temp gauge rises, burns fuel, and makes pollution even when off

If I turn off the industrial generator, it keeps using fuel, the temperature gauge maxes out, and it still generates 'Pollution of the Realms' mod pollution.
Sidenote: Why in the name of Flux Capacitor, is there even a temperature gauge on it, if it can't be damaged by high temperatures?

That seems like a "Pollution of the Realms" problem. Put this issue up on their github.
