immersive engineering oil maybe not working with ntm?

i removed immersive intelligence, the sulfur acid was not going into the ore aciditzer but removing the mod fixed it. but i don't want to remove immersive engineering. the pipes don't turn black when set to crude oil, and the oil fluid ID won't work for the cracking tower. and the boiler won't accept oil either. but like everything else in IE still works with ntm
