This is a 4x4x4 LED cube made just for the fun of creating it. Cube has been built using the cheapest LEDs on tme.eu, 64 of them, multiplexed: 16 N-driven columns and 4 P-driven layers. Maximum constant and actual diode current is ~50 mA, which makes sure that they won't fail even when multiplexing hangs in the middle while programming. Driver board is made with 3 '595 shift registers, CPU board is using typical Atmega8 family chip.
