Same issue here on Fedora 40.

Same on Rider 2024.2.3 (build 242.21829.166) on Windows x64
I also installed Rider from the JetBrains Toolbox app
EDIT: Still doesn't work on versions 2024.2.4 (build 242.21829.210) and 2024.2.5 (build 242.22855.90)

Fixed by using the new Discord integration plugin instead
