Steps to Start Your Node Project

Follow these steps to set up and customize your Node.js project:

Step 1: Update package.json

  • Open the package.json file located in the root of your project.
  • Modify the following fields according to your project requirements:
    • name: Change the project name.
    • description: Update the project description.
    • scripts: Add or customize npm scripts as needed.
    • dependencies: Add more dependencies if required.

Step 2: Install Dependencies

Run the following command to install project dependencies:

npm install

Add .env file according to your requirement.

Usage

NOTE: If you are cloning this repository, make sure your project is no longer pushed to the same repository.

To remove this remote repository, you can use the following command:

git remote remove origin
