Band Tracker

Lets users add bands and venues and associate them to one another, August 28, 2015

Description

This application allows users to add both bands and the venues they play at to a database. Users can freely associate multiple bands and venues to one another to keep track of where a band has been.

Setup

  • Clone repository to staging destination of choice (i.e. /Desktop)
  • Point your termial to the top directory of the repository folder and run: $ bundle
  • Create and connect to a PostgreSQL database using the PG gem
  • With your termial still in the top directory of the repository folder, run: $ ruby app.rb
  • Run: $ rake db:create
  • Run: $ rake db:migrate
  • In your browser of choice, navigate to: localhost:4567
  • Rock on!

  • Testing: RSpec ,capybara, pry, and shoulda-matchers
  • Database: PostgreSQL
