Research points

  1. Determine if age affects predisposition to suicide (null hypothesis - suicide rate does not depend on age)

Test: One-level ANOVA test with groups by age and variable suicide rate.

  1. See wether Ukraine’s trend of suicide rates over time depends on that of world and Europe

Test: correlation test

  1. Determine wheter in Ukraine males are more prone to suicide then females

Test: ANOVA test

  1. Detemine if world’s, Europe’s, and Ukraine’s suicide rate tends to increase

Test: analysis of regression slope
