Sentbyte tells you how much truth there is in the news for today, its literal interpretations allow for a rather ironic view of our reality. It works as an experiment in sentiment analysis, showing plots where the relation between truthfulness and deceitfulness in the articles for certain brands can be seen. The articles themselves are also displayed on the console as the user closes the windows containing the graphs that represent the information. It is an attempt of joining both technology and the humanities.
The graphs displaying the data, show the relation between truth and deceitfulness (polarity and subjectivity) in the articles, using the newspapers sentiment analysis API. The distribution of the data is giving us an insight on how varied the opinions of a certain magazine can be as well as the polarity of its content.
