Peacock is 100% safe to use but like most applications with low install counts, Peacock may show up to antiviruses or Windows Defender as a 'suspicious application', which can be easily dismissed by following the quick steps explained by the GIF below.
If you're still worried about the security of Peacock, you're welcome to scan it using an antivirus.
