Command-line tools for simple statistics

The package statTools provides command-line tools for simple statistics, written in Fortran. The package is currently in the alpha stage; a number of programs sit around on my computer, waiting to be gathered, tidied up and added — stay tuned (December 2015).

The default installer uses CMake. The code has been used with gfortran (4.9 or newer), g95 and Intel Fortran and can be used under the conditions of version 3 of the GPL. StatTools is developed by AstroFloyd.

Installation

In order to compile and install statTools, you'll need a Fortran compiler, CMake and libSUFR installed. From the package/git root directory (probably named statTools/ and containing CMakeLists.txt), do e.g.:

  1. mkdir build && cd build/
  2. cmake ..
  3. make
  4. sudo make install

For more compilation and installation options, see the INSTALL file.
