This is the backend for ToDo App, built with Node.js and MongoDB.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.
You will need to have the following installed on your machine:
- Node.js
- npm (comes bundled with Node.js)
- MongoDB
Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com:AugustHottie/nodejs.git
cd project-name
`npm install
Make a copy of the .env.example file and rename it to .env. This will contain the environment variables needed to run the app: cp .env.example .env
Start the MongoDB server: mongod
npm start
The app should now be running at http://localhost:3000.
