Backend

Running Locally

  1. Navigate to the backend directory using your terminal: cd backend

  2. Install all dependencies using npm: npm install

  3. Run the backend server:

  • For development mode: npm run server
  • Alternatively, you can use Node.js:node index.js

Environment Variables

Make sure to create a .env file in the backend directory with the following environment variables:

  • US: Username for the database
  • PASS: Password for the database
  • HOST: Host for the database
  • DATABASE: Database name
  • JWT_CODE: Secret key for JSON Web Token (JWT)

Frontend

Running Locally

  1. Navigate to the backend directory using your terminal: cd backend

  2. Install all dependencies using npm: npm install

  3. Run the frontend development server: npm start

Note

  • Make sure you have Node.js and npm installed on your machine.
  • Before running the backend, ensure you have a MySQL database set up with the provided environment variables.
  • Before running the frontend, ensure you've started the backend server.
