Hey! I am Aniket Baranwal, the developer of TypoTamer. This app features many test modes, an account system to track your errors, options to generate custom tests, and many more. The website is heavily inspired by Monkeytype, but with additional features of personalized error typing tests.
Test yourself in various modes, track your progress, and improve your speed.
- Click on characters to get tests containing characters, numbers, and words.
- Choose any combination of text, numbers, and characters.
- Click on your profile to get typing sessions based on your errors in previous tests.
- You must take at least one test to generate tests based on your errors.
- Font: Change the font style.
- Theme: Choose a theme for the application.
- Custom Theme: Create and apply your custom theme.
- Sound: Enable or disable typing sounds. Choose from some really interesting list of sounds available including pistol and canons
- The leaderboard displays a ranking of all participants based on their typing speed.
- In case of the same typing speed, the one with better accuracy is ranked higher.
- The leaderboard includes results from two specific time controls: 30 and 60 seconds.
- Accuracy should be above 90 to get your name on the leaderboard.
- Access the leaderboard by clicking the crown symbol in the navbar.
- Use
EnterorEscto restart the typing test. By default, it'sEnter. - Customize your preferred button in settings in the system section.
- WPM: Total number of characters in the correctly typed words (including spaces), divided by 5 and normalized to 60 seconds.
- Accuracy: Percentage of correctly pressed keys.
- Typed: Total correct characters / incorrect characters. Calculated after the test has ended.
