restart explorer.exe

open vscode from wsl in current folder

create code.bat in C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps

wsl.exe --cd %CD% code .

make sure that code.bat is found before the vscode code file in the PATH environment variable
