command-line-tools

These tools are generally useful for processing HTML files. Work well in conjunction with either pandoc or prince. My motivating use cases are generating documents for the C++ committee or Boost.

Command line tools:

  • html_toc: Generates an HTML table of contents from an HTML file's headers.

  • html_section_numbers: Adds section numbers to heading elements.

  • html_include_files: The HTML equivalent of #include. Used to generate example text from actual C/C++ source files.

  • html_ref_from_synopsis: Generate reference documentation HTML boilerplate from a C++ synopsis.

  • html_para_num: Adds paragraph numbers.
