Searching at different taxonomic depths would greatly increase value of the database. At present being able to download the entire dataset in excel and writing one's own code would be far more useable than the present dataset
Clearly we can use R to search data sets returned and filter by Species and Genus but at the moment the call the Utheria can only search by species. We should look to see how easy it would be to search by Genus, Family, etc...
I think it would increase useability, as you say people don't want to download the whole dataset-if they could search my higher taxonomic groups they will probably make more use of the dataset-and it's a great dataset!Thanks and all the best
