Cubemap

This "renders" the 6 faces of a cube from a panorama input image.

Useful if you want to tile your panorama onto a 3D cube for viewing.

Basically, translates each point from each face which is a plane in cartesian coordinates into spherical coordinates and then gets the pixel value from the image.

Usage

cube.py [-h] [--size SIZE] [--prefix PREFIX] [--type TYPE] [--dir DIR]
[--onefile ONEFILE] input

size : side of square faces in pixel (default 512), 2048 recommended for CSS3D use

prefix : prefix for file names

type : Image format (jpg, png ...)

dir : where to store result files

onefile : merge in one file all sides

input : file to process
