Follow these steps to set up the project locally on your machine.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your machine:

Cloning the Repository

git clone https://github.com/adrianhajdin/jsm_podcastr.git
cd jsm_podcastr

Installation

Install the project dependencies using npm:

npm install

Set Up Environment Variables

Create a new file named .env in the root of your project and add the following content:

NEXT_PUBLIC_CONVEX_URL=
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=
CLERK_SECRET_KEY=
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_SIGN_IN_URL='/sign-in'
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_SIGN_UP_URL='/sign-up'

Replace the placeholder values with your actual Convex & Clerk credentials. You can obtain these credentials by signing up on the Convex and Clerk websites.

Running the Project

npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to view the project.
