This repository contains the data and code for the paper "Differential Enforcement and the Progression of Disparities within the Criminal Justice System".
Note: The code required python 3.10 or later.
This repository requires poetry - install it using pip install poetry.
Then, install the dependencies using poetry install.
The data is stored in the data directory. It is stored in Git LFS, so you will need to install Git LFS to download it.
First download and install git lfs: https://git-lfs.com/
Then, run git lfs install to install the git lfs hooks.
Finally, run git lfs pull to download the data.
Some files are compressed into .zip files for storage purposes. Make sure to unzip them before using them.
