Practicing advance Node.js features!
this application not quite so much about making some like fancy app with sparkles all over the place.
It's really much more about understanding the code behind the scenes.
- git clone .....
install two sets of dependencies.
-
cd to root directory and then do npm install
-
cd to client directory and then do npm install
installing redis with homebrew
-
brew install redis
-
brew services start redis
check whether it's been installed
- redis-cli ping
(you should see 'pong' message)
Tip ! When testing with JEST
- Make sure you run the dev server berfore testing.
