Preferences for default button as Merge

I would like to set Merge button as default. I expect most of people won't so I prefer to have settings page.

Hi, it's store your last operation. If last operation was Merge, next time will be the same. This approach?

At first-i saw in users appdata dir this save-file, but I'm not sure it works.

On the other hand-I really prefer settings, where I can choose the default because you will not make accidental checkin. It can have three options:

  • Merge
  • Merge with checkin
  • Last used
