About The Project

In this hackathon we were asked to build our own marketplace on any technology stack. This is our project, we hope you like it!

Our Project Proposal 🥕

Our idea was to create FruverShop, a marketplace where users could post ads to buy and sell organic fruits and vegetables, locally.

Installation

To get a local copy and start running our project you need to follow these steps.👇

  1. Clone the repo

    git clone https://github.com/Carruor/MarketPlaceAdevinta.git

  2. Install NPM packages

    npm install && npm run dev

  3. Install all the dependencies using composer

    composer install

  4. Copy the example env file and rename it to .env

  5. Generate a new application key

    php artisan key:generate

  6. Download, install & run Xampp in https://www.apachefriends.org/es/index.html

⚠️ Make sure you set the correct database connection information before running the migrations ⚠️

7.Run the database migrations with:

  php artisan migrate
  1. Start the development server 
    php artisan serve

🎉🎉🎉You can now access the server at http://localhost:8000 🎉🎉🎉
