Instructions to run the app

This repo contains both front-end (/app) and backend (/server) in the same repo

  1. Fork the repo to your own Github.
  2. Clone the forked repo in your profile.
  3. Open 2 terminal windows, on one each directory and run npm install on both
  4. Create your own ElephantSQL, set in config.json => migrate and seed
  5. On the app/lib/axios.ts, you need to change the url to use your own IP address. This is because the server is running on your laptop not on your phone, so you have to make the requests there.
// src/lib/axios.js
export default axios.create({
  baseURL: "http://<YOUR_IP>:<SERVER_PORT>",
});
