A simple command-line tool for fetching weather information using Python and OpenWeatherMap API.
- Fetch current weather for a specified city
- Display temperature, humidity, and weather conditions
- Choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit units
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/ColdByDefault/weatherCLI.git
- Navigate into the project directory:
cd weather-cli-tool
- Create env:
python -m venv venv
```bash
python -m pip install --user virtualenv
```
- Activate the virtual environment:
source venv/bin/activate # On macOS/Linux .\venv\Scripts\activate # On Windows
- Install required packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Run the application:
python weather.py
- Fork the repository
- Create a new branch (git checkout -b feature/your-feature)
- Commit your changes (git commit -m 'Add your feature')
- Push to the branch (git push origin feature/your-feature)
- Create a new Pull Request
