- In the top-right corner of the page, click Fork.
- On GitHub, navigate to your fork of the Tracker repository.
- Under your repository name, click Clone or download.
- In the Clone with HTTPs section, click to copy the clone URL for the repository.
- Open Terminal.
- Type git clone, and then paste the URL you copied in Step 3. It will look like this, with your GitHub username instead of YOUR-USERNAME:
$ git clone https://github.com/YOUR-USERNAME/tracker
$ cd tracker
Install the dependencies:
brew update
brew install mysql
Setup the database:
make copy of: /config/database.yml.example and name it: /config/database.yml

Install gems:
$ bundle install
Create/migrate the database:
(Makes sure MySQL server is started)
$ mysql.server start
(You only have to do this once)
$ bundle exec rake db:create
(Do this once at the beginning, and then anytime you want to modify table structures)
$ bundle exec rake db:migrate
Run the application:
$ rails server

FACEBOOK_APP_ID = 'yourid'
FACEBOOK_APP_SECRET = 'yoursecret'
with the ids that Facebook provides.
