Points in KML need to be joined together

The way the KML is currently produced for KML has a number of issues. The drift seperate the points, but when you draw the line to the parent from the child, they should come together on the same point as when the person was born.
It is also producting too many lines and points. I'm not sure how you get 51 points out of 15 people.
