Useful commands

  • npm run build compile typescript to js
  • npm run watch watch for changes and compile
  • npm run test perform the jest unit tests
  • npx cdk deploy deploy this stack to your default AWS account/region
  • npx cdk diff compare deployed stack with current state
  • npx cdk synth emits the synthesized CloudFormation template

cdk init app --language typescript

systemctl start docker docker build -t docker-image:test . docker run -p 9000:8080 docker-image:test In a new terminal: curl "http://localhost:9000/2015-03-31/functions/function/invocations" -d '{}'

in the root direc: cdk bootstrap --region us-east-1

then cdk deploy
