I'm Daniel, a junior back-end web developer with a background in HR and a passion for coding and data.

I started my career in the HR departments of companies like Atos, Amazon and BDO, where I got used to working in fast-paced, multicultural environments were deadlines are tight and quality work a must.

I came into contact with the world of programming in an effort to automate some of the repetitive tasks my colleagues and I were facing -first with VBA and PowerQuery, eventually with Python.

The coding bug bit me hard -its puzzles, the logic behind them, and the beauty of an elegant solution-, and I realized that I can have a much bigger impact in the world by creating tools and sites people can make use of.

I now aspire to use my newfound skills to create useful, beautiful, interactive pieces of coding. Here we go!
