/indicators-on-world-bureaucracy

A case is proposed based on data from the World Bank Group. In this case, the set of indicators on world bureaucracy will be used. World Bureaucracy Indicators (WWBI) are a set of data on public sector employment and wages that can help development researchers and practitioners gain a better understanding of the size of staff hired by states, the footprint the public sector in the general labor market and the fiscal implications of the government wage bill. WWBI's goal is to fill the information gap on state personnel by providing more objective measures based on administrative data and household surveys, which will complement existing approaches based on expert insight. This data set is extracted from the group of public datasets of the World bank Group.
