A generator for Shopify apps
First, install Yeoman and generator-shopify using npm (we assume you have pre-installed node.js).
npm install -g bower
npm install -g yo
npm install -g https://github.com/DimensionSoftware/generator-shopify-expressThen generate your new project:
cd /path/to/new-project-root
yo shopify-express- Yeoman has a heart of gold.
- Yeoman is a person with feelings and opinions, but is very easy to work with.
- Yeoman can be too opinionated at times but is easily convinced not to be.
- Feel free to learn more about Yeoman.
- Remove whatever it is that requires bower.
- Trim even more fat from shopify-node-app example.
- Make SQLStrategy work out of the box or replace it with something that will work without hacks.
