AsciiDocSite

This is a minimal static site generator for AsciiDoc Markup. It fetches sources from a git repo (http/https/ssh), creates html files and serves them to clients.

For an example setup see docker-compose.yml. Alternatively you can start the container interactively, here are some examples:

  • docker run -e REPO=https://github.com/Dubhar/bme680_exporter.git -p 80:80 dubhar/asciidocsite:latest

  • docker run -e REPO=git@github.com/Dubhar/bme680_exporter.git -v /home/Dubhar/.ssh/id_rsa:/ssh_key -p 8080:80 dubhar/asciidocsite:latest

Styles

Different styles are available thanks to the awesome project at asciidoctor-skins to use them you just need to mention the style of your choice at the beginning of your AsciiDoc document. The style files are added to the root of your repo, so if your AsciiDoc document is located in a subdirectory, consider this when specifying the path. Here are some examples:

index.adoc

:stylesheet: plain.css

= Cookbook

In this book I collect recipes [...]

baking/pizza.adoc

:stylesheet: ../notebook.css
:toc: left
:last-update-label!:

= pizza

for the dough [...]
