Dates put into table are sometimes ahead by 1

Perhaps that's when the entry is written closer to midnight (EDT), or more generally at a time when UTC would already by in the next day?
Whatever the reason, this just happened to me - the dates chosen and shown on the start and end date controls and the dates written (and displayed as written) were 1 day offset. See Duke-GCB/reportcard-data@815859b40bf32fc5df5473ecf14b1c92e73f9821 for correction.
