The Reeldex App is the central source of information on all your favorite movies. The landing page gives the user a visual reference of the top ten movies world wide, currently in theaters, through the poster carosel populated via (name)API. Top headlines in Entertainmaent news are also immedietly viewable through the jQuery Web Ticker at the bottom of the screen. After entering the app, users can utilize the search feature to obtain information on movies past and present via the OMDB API. The top three movies currently in theaters are also displayed with the title, plot, and link to AMC theaters to but show tickets.
