Welcome to the EightShapes Specs Figma plugin repository. This repository's purpose is publish documentation about the plugin and serve as a public forum for plugin authors and users to submit defects and feature ideas and monitor their status.
The plugin automates the production design specifications based on selected Figma frames, component instances, components and/or component sets. The plugin produces outputs that include:

- Modes detection & display
- Two way comparisons to compare all combinations of two properties
- Tokens Studio tokens detection & display
- Specs of nested components automated, easing how to find and spec relevant components
- Tabular Anatomy display including dev resources
- Anatomy across variants to mark and annotate additional elements detected when comparing alternatives across Properties
- Multi-column layouts of 2, 3 and 4 columns for Props, Modes and Layout sections
- Dark mode spec formatting of plugin outputs by page, specs or artwork frames (for Figma accounts supporting two or more modes per variable collection)
- Slack community, to discuss plugin features with the community and the plugin creator
- Github issues to browse the backlog of pending requests and existing defects
- Create new issue to submit a defect or request a feature
