Active Directory 90-Day Expiration Reset

As a Systems Administrator, for the purpose of account auditing, it's important to have accounts expiring at a maximum of 90 days, in the case of contractors and consultant accounts. This script for Active Directory will let you reset an account's expiration date to 90 days.

Instructions

Step 0 - Modify the script to include your server information for the $server variable.

Step 1 - Run the PowerShell Script.

Step 2 - Type in the account name (samaccountname) that you'd like to reset the expiration date to 90 days from today.

Step 3 - Type in Y to confirm or N (or any other character) to reject the change.

Step 4 - Type in another account, or type "end" to terminate the script.
