A fork of Wraith Archon, the Call of Duty Asset Extractor

Primary LanguageC++GNU General Public License v3.0GPL-3.0

State of Project

Greyhound will no longer be receiving updates, it is now officially abandoned. No new features are being added and there will be no updates for game breaking updates. It was fun to maintain and work on but I need to move onto more enjoyable things.

Greyhound - A fork of Wraith Archon, Call of Duty Asset Extractor

Releases License Discord

Greyhound is a fork of the famous Wraith Archon by DTZxPorter. It is an extraction tool for Call of Duty, supporting XModels, XAnims, Images, and more depending on the game. With Greyhound I hope to ensure updates to the tool for both current and future titles, and bring more features to aid in working with the games.

For detailed information such as game support, settings, FAQs, etc. please refer to the wiki: Wiki

Requirements

The following tools/plugins are required/recommended for some assets/games:

License/Disclaimer

Greyhound, like Wraith Archon and the WraithX Library, is licensed under the General Public License 3.0, you are free to use Greyhound, both it and its source code, under the terms of the GPL. Greyhound is distributed in the hope it will be useful to, but it comes WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, see the LICENSE file for more information.

This repo is in no shape or form associated (apart from being a fork of course) with DTZxPorter or Activision and the developers. These tools are developed to allow users access to assets for use in other Call of Duty SDKs (such as the Black Ops III Mod Tools). The assets extracted by these tools are property of their respective owners.

Greyhound is distributed with an automatic updater that will check for updates each time the application is launched by requesting the releases data via the Github API. If you do not wish for Greyhound to check for updates you can simply delete the Greyhound Updater executable.
